Atmospheres Labradorite by Nambroth Atmospheres Labradorite by Nambroth
This is a Labradorite carefully hand wrapped in Argentium sterling silver. This is the biggest piece of Labradorite I've wrapped to date! The pendant size is a large 79mm long.

Labradorite is an amazing stone that can appear dark at first, until you move it and the stone comes alive with colors flashing within. The effect is similar in appearance to opal fire. It is called chatoyancy, which is a fancy way of saying that the color 'flashes' or 'rolls' across the stone, like cat's-eye but far more vibrantly. It is a natural stone, and the effect is caused by refractive layers within the stone. It cannot be simulated or dyed to look that way!

I hand wrap these pieces with nothing more than my fingers and a tiny pair of pliers. I purchase the stones already polished from rock and gem shows.

Thanks for looking. :)

[[ Since many ask-- yes, I do sell these on my personal site: [link] ]]

Wow, this one is amazing!

I love the addition of the little beaded spheres that hang off the side of the pendant--it's a beautiful touch! And the stone is just plain fantastic. The layers kind of remind me of a desert, or of sandstone, except a million shades more colorful.

If I had a job, I would definitely buy this!
(except for the fact that... it's already sold. xD)
