Bird Critters, July Batch by Nambroth Bird Critters, July Batch by Nambroth

July batch of bird Critters. Each one is hand sculpted in epoxy with glass eyes, painted, then covered with faux fur. The are, on average, around 3-4” tall at the most (they are little!). Each is one of a kind! No casting is used.

Most of these have found homes, but I have a few left. Thanks so much for looking. I will be making more. :)
I have a few stragglers in my shop, but stay tuned for more within a month or two! featherdust.storenvy.com/colle…

Is there any sort of mailing list for these? :o I'm finally in a position to buy one. If not it's fine, I'll just keep an eye out!

Do you use any social media? I used to do a mailing list but more and more people said that they ignored it in favor of social media (alas!!). So I try to post immediately once I list them on Twitter, and Facebook, and Tumblr.

I do! I follow you on twitter (I'm @aviansoul) and I have a tumblr but I'm not sure if I follow you or not, I rarely have time for it now. I do have facebook too but I am certain I don't follow you there, haha. But if one of those works well let me know! I get really busy with work but I do try to check twitter. I will just keep a super close eye on twitter in the coming month so I can pick one out quickly ^^

Yes! I do post on twitter right away, so that will work. :) I haven't started any yet... I have some deadlines to catch up on. Realistically, probably.... late October into November? That is an estimate.

There's an Egyptian vulture here! Those are one of my favorite vultures... I like all vultures in general, though. Such graceful creatures... Unfortunate that they're seen as ugly.

Yes, certainly. Beautiful and important - I'll never get why the public doesn't like them.

Vultures are awesome, I used to know and work with a Turkey Vulture. She had so much character.

Aye, your very lucky, then. I could only wish to work with a vulture, for I haven't even seen them in zoos. At least I get to observe them gliding over head, though.

That's all I can do now, but I am grateful for the opportunity I had. I still enjoy seeing them flying overhead. I like seeing them sunning on rocks.

Aye, I only got to see one eating a dead cat at first... The oddest thing, I thought it was a black chicken at first, then I neared. It hissed at me, and flew away, but it was the stench of the roadkill that really sent me running... Seeing them sun on rocks must be fun.

it is. Good thing it just hissed and flew away. Their other defense is worse than the smell of roadkill.

It is awesome seeing them on rocks sunning. There is a state park not too far from where I live that they frequent in the spring and summer.
