This was trouble from the start!

I painted this using Genesis oil paints, and when I started I didn't have the right mediums, and I made a real mess of it. After ordering the proper mediums, I still had a hard time- I've oil painted before for sure, but the Genesis oils behaved differently so it was like learning a new medium all over again.

And then, once I finished, wouldn't you know I can't get a decent photo of it to save my life. This one will do for now; it's honestly not this hideous in person. The colors are much nicer and the grainy appearance is from the subtle glare across the canvas.

Oil paints on 14" x 18" stretched canvas.

THIS is awesome!
Once I tried to paint with oil piant, too, but it was...uuhm...no comment :no: . I looked at it and just kicked it into my garbage can. Rubbish. frustrated:
Maybe I should pull a plastic bag over my head: shame on me!
But...uuhm...yeah, THIS piece is really kind of divine work. :worship: . Love your art
