A female gryphon watches over two young dragons as they nap. I wonder what unusual circumstances brought them together?

Ink and tea. Yes, the kind you drink. I used both some unknown crappy tea from a bag, and some loose green tea. No paint. Just tea.

9" x 12" ink and tea on cold press watercolor paper.

I know it's a bit messy... this was just for fun to see if I could paint with tea.

Edit: Since it is such a popular question- Yes, this painting does smell very slightly like tea, but the smell is very very faint and fading. I suspect that there is so little of the tea left after it dries that it just doesn't retain the smell very well. Smells better than paint though!!

I recall doing something similar with blueberry juice. XD Amazing what you can paint with. :D I never would have thought of using tea.

Wow! Im completely Speechless as far the way you did this artwork, and the emotions captured are truly that of a care and love of a mother should for every child they care for even if the are foster parents to them. Kudos!
