First, I get asked a lot so I thought I'd provide some insight into my nonsense:
I often get very frustrated with drawing, and more often than not get fed up with the process of sketching, inking, erasing, cleaning it up, etc etc... Sometimes my patience lacks and I just take a sheet of paper and hit it with inks without sketching first. Each stoke is permanant and mistakes can't be fixed. I've chucked a lot of half-drawn pieces because of this! Patience pays off. This is one of the ones that didn't get chucked, though it still, to me, has mistakes. For those that insist they don't see the mistakes, you are very kind. A leaping kirin in a bamboo forest. What the heck is a kirin? [link] 5" x 7" ink and marker. |

Which brings us to six chicken-related deaths, three more than on a usual day.
