It's super cute! I love baby dragons. I have one that my friend gave me at camp...he keeps chewing on the paper in the drawer that has all my letter-writing stuff...there're all these little scorch marks around the edges, too!
Beautiful! I love the color combination and the way you put the fern prints as a background. Do you paint the background before or after painting the foreground? Do you use any special technique to keep the background from bleeding into the other colors, or do you just paint around them carefully?
A little cutie is what this is can see the green relation to how this is like and blends in with the ferns quite well. To me it looks like a small breed not much bigger than some birds as I see it; though based on the fact this creature looks like it only has the four appendages two wings an two claws it looks like it might be more related to a wyvern, however this could just be because of my viewing perspective. I do like though how you have the background set so that the green of this dragon more stands out as to the rusty reds and colors out in the background of what is your backyard, nice.
Beautiful all around. And man, I'm so jealous of your rock. It looks so natural and and...real. I suck at rocks. Anyway, gorgeous work. I love all the plants. And nice contrast between the green of the dragon and the gray of the rock and the warm, orangey background. Very eye-appealing.
