This is a neat piece of labradorite cut in a half-circle, set with solid sterling silver.
Labradorite is a type of feldspar that when viewed from different angles 'flashes' an electric assortment of colors. This one is a bright solid orange. The colors appear due to cleavage planes within the stone; the 'cracks' you see are within the stone and are not truly cracks in the rock. I hand wrap these pieces with nothing more than fingers and a tiny pair of pliers. I get my stones pre-polished from rock and gem shows. Enjoy. [[ For sale on my personal site: [link] ]] |

If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumb'red here
While these visions did appear.
