Quiescence

I had to take a break from work and paint something that's been on my mind for some time. Sadly this is kinda a quick painting because I couldn't afford to spend too much time on it, but I hope it gets the idea across.

The stag/buck is not based on any single deer species but a combo of traits from many deer species.

It's my hope that the viewer need to take a second glance to realize the wings are there. Just a reminder that there is something special even in the ordinary.
