I painted this one so it could be viewed either vertically or horizontally. This dragon has lots of iridescent blue, purple and gold that don't show in the scan.

10" long x 2" wide domestic goose feather, painted with acrylic paints. Embellished with a CZ in the shaft.

Ah how beautiful, Nambroth! I wish I could see the iridescent colors. I bet its awesome. This dragon would look amazing on like a snowy owl feather.

That is so cool! Great job. Was it hard to paint on the feather? I know they aren't exactly rigid. ^^;

Thats lovely. I love how to blue stands out so much against the dark background of the feather.

Do you happen to have a tutorial or know of one that you can recommend? We've got some peacocks that are supplying me with some lovely feathers and I would like to start painting on them. I'm just not sure how to start.

this is very lovely, mabey i should do something like this with all the parrot feathers i have, idk.
