I think it's all the curves that make it look so real. I'm wondering - does the pink eye mean it's an albino? The color is kind of incongruous to me (I'd have expected yellow, or maybe green or blue) otherwise.

Yes! The author wanted the dragon to be albino with pink eyes specifically. I know that true albino scaled creatures sometimes tend to have a pink cast to their skin (as the ack of pigment means you can actually see the blood underneath) but the author wanted this dragon to be a brilliant white. :)

Yes, you never cease to amaze me.

The little detail just makes this.. whole. Everything, I just can't get tired staring at this piece. xD The horns are what amaze me the most though. You've got a WONDERFUL sense of highlights and shadows. You also have an amazing knowledge of color and anatomy.
Amen to those scales, goddamn. XD

The scales on the face... yeesh! Such intense detail! And I love the purple eye, too, by the way; the color contrasts the rest of the dragon, but I like how you've tied in subtle purples in the shadows. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
