In all of the animal kingdom, there exists one creature whose ire strikes fear into the hearts of any that rest eyes upon it.
Do not anger the mighty hummingbird, for they believe they are greater warriors than the most mighty of eagles, and their anger burns with the fury of a thousand suns.

Also, their language is composed entirely of swear words.

A quick and rough commission for :iconillucian: of a female rufous hummingbird. :)

LOL at the swear word description. I recently used that same description in one of my deviations. It's so true! They are so vicious...yet that makes them cuter! You are absolutely fabulous at this. I could tell it was a rufus instantly just by the thumbnail, that's how accurate you are!

My place has several feeders up and we've been getting over twenty individuals fighting over all of them. We're running out of pounds of sugar every week. D:
And maaan do they get mad at you if you go near their feeders. I've had more than one 'buzz-by'
