A commission done for :iconvantid: as a gift for Autumn Foxfyre.

This shows a 22° halo with a sundog/parhelia display and an upper tangent arc- which are all real phenomenon you can see in the sky! [link]

:la: THis is awesome! A painting that incorporates atmospheric optical phenomena! :dummy: I've been wanting to do something with them for a long time (especially parhelia), because I'm trying to photograph as many varieties as I can. So far I have parhelia, 22 degree halos on both the moon and sun, a corona (on the moon), and... I think that's it. I haven't put them into a painting yet, though. At least not a good one |D This is just awesome :D
