Artist's Comments

I had a real good time drawing the crow in the aspen, so I decided to do a raven in the pine this time. XD

Ink and Prismacolor markers on marble cardstock.

The highlights in the feathers are so skillfully done. :) Looks like it will fly off the page any minute!

I love the feathers! Great choices of medium (especially the marble paper, which makes a good sky)

How expensive is the marble cardstock, roughly? It makes such an interesting effect for cloudy backgrounds, I'd like to try it out sometime.

Very nice picture, I'm fond of your traditional works. It's nice to see artists work in both types and not stick mainly to digital or traditional. I like the way the raven's eye and beak came out and the shaggy throught is very cute for some reason. Great work making the feathers look glossy, too.

It probably depends on where you buy it and what kind it is- I got mine form a local store, 50 sheets for about ten bucks. :}
