Tree Swallow Watercolor Studyby ~Nambroth

This was my first venture into the mysterious land of 300lb. rough watercolor paper! Boy it sure is different. I haven't used it enough to judge yet, though.

This is a study of a tree swallow.

This isn't meant to be a serious painting as it's mostly about me exploring and learning about the medium and this new paper.

Watercolors on 5.5" x 10" 300lb rough.

This is wonderful and should NOT be in scraps! I love 300lb rough, one of my favorite mediums to use because of all the texture and how it absorbs the colors ^^

Excellent job, I can never get my colors to blend like this anymore.... it must be the paper I am using!
