Artist's Comments

These feathers were both painted for two different individuals that lost their beloved companion dogs. They are memorial artworks.

Tristen is the Chow Chow on the left, and Rab is the Rottie on the right.

May they both rest in peace after happy lives with their owners.

Acrylic paint on (yes, real) domestic goose feathers.

Feathers were approximately 9 or 10" long x 1.25" wide.

Awwww...well, kind of a sad occasion to make art but a beautiful way to remember them, as well! I must say this must be incredibly tedious with this medium and it really boggles my mind how you do this! Really extraordinary art in every way! :D
