Artist's Comments

This was another of my experiments. Essentially it is a watercolor wash... then painted, using acrylic paint, the winged wolf in. Finally I used ink for details on the wolf.

This was fun but scary because there was no way to make corrections or fix errors. Completely freehand with no sketch, ink nor acrylic erase (hence errors). The anatomy is a little off on the wolf and the muzzle is a bit too short, but it was fun regardless! Some art should be just for fun, sometimes.

Watercolor, acrylic and ink on 11" x15" watercolor paper.

I'm doing a winged feline companion to this piece, in warm colors.

Sangre absorbida por la tierra, crecen cerezos rojos sobre ésta.

Se cae en pedazos, se pierde la esperanza.

¿Es ésto el amor...?

Of course, everyone is welcome to use my work as computer wallpaper as long as it stays on the computer only. ^^
