A commission for :iconyao-chi: Yao Chi!

Yao Chi, an overly colorful dragon of small stature but big heart, takes a wild flight of fantasy and dreams of his castle in the sky... but is it dream? Or reality?

This piece of artwork has literally been years in the making. I can't begin to fathom how long it took me!!

Special thanks to Yao Chi for being so patient with me.

Painted in Corel Painter.

He is fantastic and beautiful. A creature other dragons would envy, and many a human would want to befriend. (Me included!)

I am not quite sure how to call this, is this a rainbow phoenix dragon or a Chinese lung phoenix, etc. I do find it interesting how did you do this like that city in the clouds and just its perspective range in general along with the gulls in the dustance. Also on another note when I first saw this I thought of a song called Castles, a very nice piece indeed. :) :+fav:
